The U.S. Department of Commerce has a little–known department that offers a big punch for U.S. companies looking to grow their business overseas. Thomas McGinty, a foreign service officer with the department, spoke at the Suppliers Council meeting during ISPA’s Industry Conference, detailing those services, including consultations on foreign markets, trade counseling, market research, export documentation assistance, and identifying distributors and buyers.
