Comfort Solutions promotes three to vice president

Mattress licensing group Comfort Solutions, which has headquarters in Willowbrook, Ill., has promoted Glenn Kobylarczyk, Ken Swinarski and Dan Thigpen Jr. to newly created vice president positions.

Kobylarczyk and Thigpen each were named vice president of business development. Since 2010, both have held posts as director of sales technologies and were sales education specialists.

In his new role, Kobylarczyk concentrates on sales, account development and services, and reports to David Binke, Comfort Solutions executive vice president of sales.

Thigpen’s focus is on driving Comfort Solutions’ business through marketing and branding projects, as well as related technology applications. He reports to Cindy Williams, senior vice president of marketing.

Swinarski was named vice president of creative services. In the post, he is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s creative projects and has increased responsibility for corporate and customer presentations. He reports to Williams. Swinarski joined Comfort Solutions in 2008 as director of marketing services and most recently was creative director.

“We’ve made tremendous advancements as a company over the past few years and it’s equally important that we advance our staff and resources as we continue to move forward,” said Dave Roberts, Comfort Solutions president and chief operating officer. “Dan, Glenn and Ken have been instrumental in helping us realize many of our strategic objectives and we’re extremely pleased to announce their well-deserved promotions and new responsibilities.”
