The International Sleep Products Association has elected five new trustees to serve on its board: Allyn Beard, A.H. Beard; Michael Faus, Carpenter Co.; Ronnie Ford, Atlanta Attachment Co.; Eric Rhea, Leggett & Platt; and Stephen Russo, Southerland Inc.
Gerry Borreggine, president and chief executive officer of Therapedic International, continues his role as chairman of the board, and Ron Passaglia, president and CEO of Restonic, continues his role as vice chairman.
Trustees remaining on the board include Rick Anderson, Tempur-Pedic; Roger Coffey, Latexco West LLC; Aslan Cohen, Spring Air Mexico S.A. de C.V.; Michael Crowell, Flexible Foam Products Inc.; John Larsen, Sound Sleep Products; Dave Roberts, Comfort Solutions; Kathryn Roedel, Select Comfort; Ralph Rossdeutscher, Natura World; Fred Rullo, FXI; Tony Smith, Simmons Bedding Co.; Stuart Spiller, Hickory Springs Mfg. Co.; Scott Veitzer, Omaha Bedding Co.; Tony Wolf, Wolf Corp.; and Don Wright, Wright Global Graphic Solutions.
At its meeting in March during ISPA EXPO 2012, the board honored departing trustees who have completed their terms: Perry Davis, L&P; Hank Little, Atlanta Attachment; Ed Malechek, Carpenter; and Bryan Smith, Southerland.
“Volunteers from companies in the bedding industry who serve on the board and our various committees are the lifeblood of this organization,” said ISPA President Ryan Trainer. “Through their generous service, these individuals dedicate their time and share their wisdom for the betterment of the entire industry. On behalf of all ISPA members, we salute the four trustees whose service on the board has now ended. At the same time, we welcome the newly elected trustees and look forward to their input on the issues before this industry.”
