Agru adds news sales and technical manager

Fabric and fiber supplier Agru America, with headquarters in Georgetown, S.C., has hired Brittany Garner as sales and technical manager of its Fabrics and Fiber Division.

Garner is responsible for technical leadership and new business development for nonwoven geotextiles, industrial, automotive and bedding products. She is based at the company’s Andrews, S.C. facility, the former Performance Fabrics & Fibers plant purchased by Agru in January.

Garner has seven years of industry experience in research and development, applications, and sales. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society for Testing and Materials, and holds a Bachelor of Science in polymer and fiber engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Agru is part of Alois Gruber GmbH, a family-owned business with production and distribution facilities worldwide.
