SocialNorth hires Dana Helms

SocialNorth, a social media strategy company based in Waterloo, Ontario, has hired Dana Helms as community manager.

“We’re looking forward to building on SocialNorth’s positive momentum with Dana executing on social media strategy for our clients,” said Julia Rosien, SocialNorth owner and founder. “Dana is an exceptional conversationalist and online brand advocate. (These are) must-have strengths that we’re confident will support our growth as an international company.”

Previously, Helms was client services representative for MicroD, a Web developer and technology solutions company serving the home furnishings industry. She is vice president of social media for the women’s home furnishings industry group WithIt. Rosien currently serves as WithIt president.
