Sleep Country donates coats, gifts to foster kids

For the second year in a row, Seattle-based retailer Sleep Country collected and donated more than 9,000 coats for foster children in the Pacific Northwest. The coats were collected at Sleep Country stores in Idaho, Oregon and Washington between mid-September and early November. They were divided among Sleep Country’s 24 nonprofit partners who distributed them to foster kids in need.

The 80-store chain also sponsored a Secret Santa toy drive to provide new, unwrapped toys and gifts for the region’s nearly 20,000 foster children during the holiday season.
