Reverie moves some base assembly to U.S.

stars and stripes unfurlingAdjustable bed base and sleep products supplier Reverie is assembling some adjustable bases in the United States at its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Silver Creek, N.Y. The company commenced U.S. production in January with its deluxe 7S model. The company’s other adjustable bases are manufactured and assembled in Asia. All Reverie mattresses are manufactured in the United States.

Domestic assembly will give the company greater flexibility in servicing customers and in customizing private-label orders.

“This decision makes sense from both a customer service and economic standpoint,” said Jack Eppolito, Reverie chief operating officer. “U.S. manufacturing gives our customers what they need with a faster turnaround. Bringing our adjustable base manufacturing to the U.S. is something we’ve been actively pursuing for some time, and we’re excited that we’re now able to do this at a competitive price. We see real value in having manufacturing in the USA and supporting the local economy.”
