During the winter Las Vegas Market Jan. 28-Feb. 1, Boston-based mattress licensing group Spring Air launched a year-long celebration of its Back Supporter brand, part of which centers on ticket giveaways to the 2014 Super Bowl. The company unveiled a Special Edition Back Supporter collection, with suggested retail price points opening at $599 in queen size. The company also paid tribute to Back Supporter licensees around the world. Back Supporter is manufactured in 33 countries.

Upper Midwest Sleep/Spring Air in Grand Forks, N.D., was recognized as the North American outstanding Spring Air licensee. The award honors outstanding achievement in sales, quality, group participation and brand development.

“This award is especially impressive as it’s the second consecutive year that Spring Air Upper Midwest has won this award—that makes it even more dramatic,” said Rick Robinson, Spring Air president. “They had the highest percentage sales increase for two years and they’re in the upper Midwest, which means they are really growing their business with traditional retailers.”

Spring Air showcased the winner of International Back Supporter of the Year in the front window of its World Market Center showroom. The premium Euphoria bed is by Spring Air in Jakarta, Indonesia, and has multiple layers of zoned latex and memory foams and a five-zone wrapped coil core.
