North Carolina updates bedding law

Legislation recently signed into law in North Carolina gives the Commissioner of Agriculture the right to enter commercial establishments to enforce the provisions of the state’s bedding law. It also allows the commissioner to obtain an inspection warrant if entry is refused. The new law took effect July 1.
