Longtime bedding industry executive Larry N. Wride, southeast regional sales manager for St. Louis-based Boyd Specialty Sleep, died June 19 of a heart attack. He was 66.

“Anyone who knew Larry will remember him as an enthusiastic and optimistic person, a man wholly dedicated to his family and passionate about his work,” said Denny Boyd, president of Boyd Specialty Sleep. “He will be greatly missed both personally and professionally by many people inside and outside our company. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this very trying time.”

Before joining Boyd Specialty Sleep as a regional sales manager in 2004, Wride held executive sales and marketing posts for several bedding manufacturers, including Comfortaire and Simmons Bedding Co.
