“Mary Best has been a tremendous asset and, in her new role, will bring a wealth of fresh ideas and forward thinking,” noted ISPA VP of Membership and Communications, Mary Helen Uusimaki. “Mary’s passion for publishing and her extensive knowledge of the mattress industry will bring the publication to new and greater heights.”

As editor, Best plans to continue the ongoing success of the 11-year-old magazine, spearhead the publication’s redesign to be introduced in 2014 and expand the print edition into a digital resource for bedding retailers.

Sleep Savvy is dedicated to improving the selling environment for mattresses and related sleep products with editorially unbiased information and ideas designed to make a unique contribution to the bedding industry’s growth, profitability and image.

The magazine, printed eight times a year, is published by the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) and its educational arm the Better Sleep Council for bedding buyers, retail CEOs, store managers and sales associates. Designed to support and supplement vendors’ education programs, Sleep Savvy is also important reading for manufacturers’ sales reps and sales/marketing executives.

Established in 1915, the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the growth, profitability and stature of the mattress industry. As the industry’s trade organization, ISPA represents mattress manufacturers and suppliers throughout the world.

ISPA provides a wide range of services that benefit its membership.
