Ohio changes bedding reporting requirements

Ohio Gov. John Kasich recently signed into law legislation changing reporting requirements for manufacturers that sell bedding in the state. Previously, manufacturers had to submit sales figures and remit regulatory fees every six months. The new law changes this requirement to annual reporting.

The International Sleep Products Association prompted the change. ISPA has been working with Ohio state officials to make a number of changes to the state’s bedding law and regulations.
