Charles Bastien
Bed frame and bed base supplier Mantua Mfg. Co. has hired Charles Bastien as vice president of commercial sales for the North American division. Bastien is responsible for the Walton Hills, Ohio-based company’s government, health care and hospitality sales.
Bastien joins Mantua with nearly two decades of executive sales experience at a number of bedding, electronics and durable-goods manufacturers. Most recently, he was director of hospitality sales for Simmons, where he developed significant new business and grew product margins. Prior to that, he was senior director of international accounts at Royal Philips.
“Charles has a great track record of working with his clients to develop new and exciting products and programs, and we know our partners will benefit greatly from his expertise,” said David Jaffee, Mantua president. “We are confident his tremendous amount of experience and talent will help us push our aggressive growth strategy even further. Along with his passion for global distribution, new-business and distributor development, sales-organization leadership and marketing, he brings great insights to our senior management team.”
Bastien reports to Jaffee.
