Mattress major Tempur Sealy International Inc., headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, has “teed-off” the Tempur-Pedic Golf Sweepstakes, which offers the winner a “VIP golf experience.” One lucky consumer, along with three friends, will take an all-expense-paid trip to the PGA Tour’s OHL Classic at Mayakoba Nov. 10-16, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The winner also receives “up to $15,000 in prize money, just like the pros,” and a Tempur-Pedic mattress set, a news release said. The new sweepstakes is part of a three-year marketing agreement between Tempur-Pedic and the PGA Tour.
The mattress maker also has partnered with professional golfer Kenny Perry; he’s a Tempur-Pedic owner and brand partner, as well as a 21-time PGA Tour winner and Champions Tour winner.
“I have played professionally for more than 30 years, and I’ve learned that most great rounds start with a great night’s sleep—and I’m confident all the other professional athletes I know would agree,” Perry said. “Not only does Tempur-Pedic deliver the best sleep I’ve ever had, but they are launching their new sponsorship by creating one of the most unique golf-fan experiences I’ve ever seen.”
The grand prize includes all transportation, meals, accommodations, tournament tickets, hospitality passes, entry into the tournament pairing party and awards dinner, and a meet-and-greet with Kenny Perry and the 2014 tournament champion—for the foursome. The winner and one friend will participate in the event’s pro-am tournament.
