California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed into law legislation that requires manufacturers of furniture and other products must meet the CA Technical Bulletin 117-2013 flammability standard to label their products as to whether they include added flame retardants. Since mattresses are not required to meet TB 117-2013, the law does not apply to those products.
