Customatic adds advanced assembly line at Taiwan plant

Adjustable base manufacturer Customatic Adjustable Bedz, with headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts, and its partner Ruoey Lung Enterprise Corp., based in Changhua Hsien, Taiwan, have installed a new assembly line at their recently enlarged 300,000-square-foot facility in Taiwan.

The new line increases production levels by more than 15%. It was built in three months and uses an “advanced computerized visual scan system” for greater speed, efficiency and improved quality control, according to the company.

“At Customatic, we have always been very mindful in our approach to expansion in an effort to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations,” said Customatic principal Phil Sherman. “The addition of the new assembly line is a direct response to our current customers’ needs, as they find more success in the category, while providing the opportunity for further business development and new relationships. Additions such as this assembly line allow us to maintain steady growth while introducing innovative features, ultimately keeping us on the forefront of the adjustable bed category.”
