ISPA welcomes two new staff members

Beth English has joined the publications staff of the International Sleep Products Association as an associate editor of BedTimes and Sleep Savvy magazines.

English, a seasoned communications professional and editor, comes to ISPA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she served as associate director of editorial services. During her 15-year career with the university, she worked as editor of UNCG Magazine and UNCG Research magazine, which garnered numerous awards during her tenure.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and of UNCG with a master’s in liberal studies, English worked as a reporter for several North Carolina newspapers and as public information officer with the Asheboro City Schools before joining UNCG.

In October, English covered her first High Point Market, where she had the opportunity to begin meeting folks in the sleep products industry.

Also joining the ISPA staff is Jasmine Wood, a communications specialist. Wood, who recently moved to the Washington, D.C., area, is a graduate of N.C. A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Wood earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication and most recently worked as a public relations coordinator for a nonprofit in Greensboro.
