Logan, Utah-based Malouf is building a 220,000-square-foot headquarters and warehouse in nearby Nibley. Completion is expected by July.

The sleep accessories producer hired award-winning, Salt Lake City-based AE Urbia, to design and build the state-of-the-art facility. The building will use “green construction for high resource efficiency,” a news release said.

The building is designed to promote productivity and employee wellbeing through the use of open space—for ease of collaboration, effective use of natural light and superior acoustics. In addition, the site includes an employee gym, indoor basketball court and a dining area, where a professional chef prepares lunch daily—a company tradition. The facility blueprint also includes “a complete imaging studio and cyclorama to support growing investments in video and photography,” as well as a large showroom.

“With a rapidly growing customer base we needed to expand our infrastructure to support our growing team and product line,” said CEO Sam Malouf. “Our new space will bring us together to help facilitate better communication and more collaboration.”

The company said it will retain ownership of its existing offices and warehouse space in Logan in preparation for future growth.
