Constance Sousa
Mattress fabric supplier Creative Ticking Inc., a division of Beverly Knits, with headquarters in Gastonia, North Carolina, has named Constance Sousa as director of design and merchandising.
Sousa is responsible for all aspects of design and merchandising, from concept to introduction. This includes directing the design team, coordinating fabric and cover development, marketing, managing sample preparation and organizing line introductions.
Sousa reports to Dennis St. Louis, vice president of business development for Creative Ticking and Creative Fabric Services. Her background includes more than 20 years in the mattress and fabric industry as a product design and product development executive for major bedding and textile suppliers. Most recently, she was product design manager for Tempur-Sealy. Previously, she was product development manager with Meridian Yarn and served in various design capacities with Covington Fabrics and Culp Inc.
