Spring Air extends licensees’ distribution areas

Boston-based mattress licensing group Spring Air International has reassigned and reorganized several areas of licensing responsibility in the United States, enabling two licensees in Texas and North Carolina to expand their distribution.

Spring Air Texas, based in Corsicana, Texas, and also known as Corsicana Bedding, is now responsible for selling Spring Air branded products in Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas and “several other states” in its current area of responsibility, according to a news release.

Spring Air North Carolina, based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and also known as Spring Air Mattress Corp., has expanded its reach into South Carolina, in addition to North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. The licensee—the company’s oldest—is owned by the Grove family.

“We’re looking forward to seeing significant sales growth and development for the Spring Air brand as a result of these changes in our U.S. organization,” said Rick Robinson, Spring Air president. “At the same time, we’re expanding our international presence with the recent addition of a Germany-based company, as well as other new overseas licensees that will be announced this year.”
