Jim Lambert
Mattress maker Pure LatexBLISS, with headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut, has added two new members to its sales team. Jim Lambert was appointed sales director for the central United States and Dan Mocias was named sales director for California.
The two new positions represent the next step in a strategic reorganization intended to strengthen the company and better serve customers, a news release said.
The men work with customers to expand their Talalay latex offerings and sales performance, and conduct new business development. Mocias is responsible for managing the company’s California sales team.
Lambert brings more than two decades of experience in the sleep products industry to Pure LatexBLISS. Most recently, he was vice president of sales with South Bay International. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales with Natura World. Previously, he held posts with Comforpedic and Tempur-Pedic.
Dan Mocias
Mocias has more than 25 years of home furnishings sales and marketing experience. Most recently, he worked with Concepts in Wood and Boyd Specialty Sleep.
“With interest in Talalay sleep products on the rise, our goal is to bring more depth to our sales team and better serve our customers,” said Ken Hinman, Pure LatexBLISS executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Because of his work in home furnishings, Dan brings a different perspective to the company. … (He) knows how to implement new programs that grow a business. Jim brings a great track record, sales leadership experience and retailer relationships to our team. With this investment, the sales management team has expanded, giving our retailers deeper resources and experience that can assist them in driving more traffic and sales throughout a larger part of the United States.”
