Mattress major Tempur Sealy International Inc., with headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, has selected Richard Neu to serve on its board of directors.
With a professional career spanning more than 35 years, Neu has served on a variety of boards over the past 11 years. He is a current member of the Huntington Bancshares board of directors, chairs its audit committee and sits on its executive, community development and trust committees.
Previously, he was lead director and member of the audit and governance committees of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., until the sale of the company in 2012. He served as chairman of the Dollar Thrifty board of directors from 2010 through 2011. Neu also served as a director of MCG Capital Corp. from 2007 until its sale in 2015, serving as chairman of the board from 2009 to 2015 and as chief executive officer from 2011 to 2012.
From 1985 to 2004, he served as chief financial officer of Charter One Financial Inc., a major regional bank-holding company. Neu previously worked for KPMG.
