Michael Margolies
Industry supplier Leggett & Platt Inc., based in Carthage, Missouri, has appointed Michael Margolies staff vice president managing the creative services department.
Margolies most recently worked at Amazon.com as a studio manager overseeing commercial and advertising product photography. He previously led creative departments at both Macy’s and Cabela’s, where he managed projects, provided design services, and trained and developed staff.
Throughout his career, which spans more than 20 years, Margolies also has owned and operated his own photography and design business, providing freelance photography, graphic design and marketing services. He spends his free time working on creative endeavors and volunteering his photography services for various organizations.
“Michael comes to us with a wealth of industry knowledge,” said Perry Davis, L&P senior vice president and president of the Residential Furnishings Segment. “We’re excited to bring him onboard and welcome him as a new Leggett partner.”
