Fabric and sewn covers supplier BekaertDeslee, with world headquarters in Waregem, Belgium, has a new website, BekaertDeslee.com, showcasing the company’s global presence, broad capabilities and product array, as well as its new “Close to You” tagline.
According to Lien Sinnesael, BekaertDeslee marketing and communication manager, the company wanted to give its customers the information they need, so it invested heavily in new tools and apps that are featured in the site. Another goal is to give manufacturers all the information they need to explain the features and benefits of BekaertDeslee fabrics used in its products.
Prominently featured on the site is the company’s proprietary, cloud-hosted BD Cloud Configurator, a design tool that enables mattress makers to design mattress exteriors with drag-and-drop ease by choosing among panels, borders, quilt designs and other details.
The options are infinite, Sinnesael said, adding, “(It’s) a powerful tool enabling you to captivate your customers.”
BD Cloud combines the best of “both worlds,” using a hybrid of the design tools developed independently by Bekaert Textiles and DesleeClama prior to their merger. “It is both fast and easy to use,” Sinnesael said.
According to a news release, the new “Close to You” tagline has more than one meaning in that BekaertDeslee is always nearby, thanks to its global sales and manufacturing presence, and its fabrics are slept on by hundreds of thousands of people each night.
