GSG Waste-exit system

The Waste-Exit system automatically gathers a machine’s material trimmings and transports them through vacuum-powered ducts to a centralized collection point.

Carthage, Missouri, March 16, 2017 — Waste-exit and Global Systems Group® (GSG), a division of Leggett & Platt Incorporated®, are pleased to announce their new partnership to serve the mattress industry. GSG has entered into agreement with Waste-exit to be a global agent for Waste-exit’s material waste handling systems in bedding markets.

Denmark-based Waste-exit engineers systems to remove material waste from the factory floor. Nearly any mattress manufacturing machine can be retro-fitted to utilize the Waste-exit vacuum removal system. Trimmings, dust, and cut materials are automatically drawn into a vacuum tube that transports this waste from the machine to a centralized collection area.

Automatically removing material waste in this way improves operational efficiency by eliminating wasted floor space, removing potential injury hazards, and reducing non-value-added cleaning and maintenance procedures during production time.

Global Systems Group (GSG) consists of leading machinery producers and innovators in international bedding markets. The innovative waste handling systems of Waste-exit will strengthen and improve mattress manufacturing efficiencies for GSG customers.

The Global Systems Group is a division of Leggett & Platt®, of Carthage, Missouri. Global Systems Group specializes in providing manufacturing machinery for the bedding producers and related industries. Learn more at www.gsgcompanies.com.
