Sheex Inc., a sleep accessories and sleepwear supplier based in Marlton, New Jersey, has hired Craig Reynolds as chief merchant officer and Eric Jent as executive vice president of sales.
Previously, Reynolds was president of British brand Kent & Curwen. Prior to that, he was chief merchant and general manager of apparel at Converse for five years and spent 14 years in various roles with Tommy Hilfiger.
“I am thrilled to be a part of such a creative and entrepreneurial enterprise,” Reynolds said. “I feel as though there are no limitations on creativity at Sheex. Wearing a lot of hats to achieve very specific business goals has always been what has gratified me the most in building brands, and I have a great opportunity to do that here at Sheex.”
Jent joined Sheex from bedding supplier Design Weave USA, where he served as president of the North American division. Prior to that, he held executive sales posts with a number of bedding and furniture majors.
Commenting on his post, Jent said: “I am excited to join the Sheex team to lead sales growth at this pivotal time for the company. The addition of their newest partnership with Paramount Sleep creates the first, fully integrated performance sleep system within the industry. As our retail customers look to differentiate themselves in the marketplace, Sheex has a unique and compelling story to create the strongest sleep message for their consumers.”
Susan Walvius, co-founder and co-principal of Sheex along with Michelle Brooke-Marciniak, said: “One of the things I learned coaching collegiate basketball for 21 years is that you win with leadership, talent and experience. Craig Reynolds and Eric Jent exemplify these qualities at the highest level in business.”
