Mattress producer Park Place Corp., based in Greenville, South Carolina, has hired Todd Councilman for the new position of national accounts manager.

Councilman, who has 30 years of experience in the polyurethane foam business, most recently was senior vice president of sales for Elite Comfort Solutions in Hickory, North Carolina. Prior to that, he was president of the Foam Products Division of HSM Solutions and spent many years in various positions at Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co. He also has served on the board of trustees of the International Sleep Products Association.
In his position, Councilman is responsible for national strategic accounts. He reports to Jason Kelley, chief executive officer and president. “We are pleased to have Todd on the PPC team,” Kelley said. “Todd’s comprehensive background, talent and passion for the industry will certainly enhance the strategic vision of Park Place.”
