New night The 10th annual Ante4Autism poker tournament takes place Saturday, Jan. 27, in Las Vegas.

The 10th annual Ante4Autism Poker Tournament takes place on a new night at the Winter Las Vegas Market.

Members of the bedding and home furnishings industry, Las Vegas locals, celebrities, and professional poker players will converge on the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 27. In previous years, the event was held on Sunday evening. The tournament also has added another Double Diamond sponsor. Ashley Furniture Industries has pledged $10,000 for the second year in a row.

“We moved the event to the evening before the opening of the furniture market to appeal to more local Las Vegas poker players and to avoid conflicts with other furniture industry events,” said tournament founder Doug Krinsky. “The Golden Nugget worked with us to move the event, and we thank them for their help and support.”

In addition to Ashley Furniture, the list of donors and sponsors for the event continues to grow. Eclipse International has signed up as a $2,500 platinum sponsor. BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture Direct and Big Sandy Superstores are $1,000 gold sponsors. They join Leggett & Platt Inc., the $15,000 presenting sponsor; Symbol Mattress, the $10,000 final table sponsor; and the Furniture First national buying group, a $10,000 double diamond sponsor.

Tournament proceeds go toward autism research and organizations that support families and children affected by autism spectrum disorders.

Those interested in sponsorships or making donations can contact Krinsky by email at [email protected] or call 614-554-0802. For more information, also check Ante4autism.com.
