Select Comfort is rolling out its super–sized version of a king. The Sleep Number Grand King has 30% more sleep space than a traditional king and measures 6–feet–8–inches wide and 8–feet–2–inches long.
“Taller people often experience greater strain on their circulatory and skeletal systems, making a comfortable and restorative night’s sleep essential to their overall health,” says Noel Schenker, senior vice president of marketing and new business development at Select Comfort. “The Grand King is a super–sized model of the Sleep Number bed, offering the ultimate in personalized comfort and providing more than enough room for even the tallest people to stretch out.”
Select Comfort also has partnered with SIS Covers to produce custom bedding for specialty sized beds. The linens can be made to order and include sheets, duvet covers, pillow shams, window coverings and bed skirts in three fabrics and 40 colors. The custom bedding also is available for standard sized beds.
SIS Covers began as a window treatment business in 1986 and today manufactures custom futon covers and bedclothes that are featured in retailers such as HOM and Nebraska Furniture Mart.
