Components supplier and manufacturer Leggett & Platt in Carthage, Mo., has promoted Phillip Herrin to vice president of contract/hospitality sales, effective Feb. 1.
Herrin currently is vice president of sales for the southeast region for the company’s Consumer Products Group. He will replace Dick Bullock, who retires Jan. 31.
Herrin has been with L&P for 19 years, including six years in the Bedding Group as customer service manager and sales manager and 13 years in sales and sales management with the Consumer Products Group.
Laura Nix has been promoted to the position Herrin is vacating. She most recently was a sales representative for North Carolina and coastal South Carolina in the Consumer Products Group.
Herrin and Nix both report to Rob Woods, Consumer Products Group president.
