Mattress maker and licensing group Comfort Solutions has added Owen Shoemaker, Eric Jent and Howard Galant to newly created executive product development and sales posts.
Shoemaker, with 18 years of experience in the mattress and related industries, has been named vice president of product development. He studied sleep science at the School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif., and has worked for Ortho Sleep Centers, Latex International, Nature’s Rest, Kingsdown and XSENSOR Technology Corp.
He reports to Dave Roberts, president and chief executive officer of Comfort Solutions, which is based in Willowbrook, Ill.
Both Jent and Galant have joined Comfort Solutions as vice presidents of sales development.
Jent, who will be based in Sparta, N.J., most recently was with Spring Air. He also has held sales posts with Ashley Furniture Industries and Simmons.
Galant will work from Lake Forest, Calif. Before joining the company, he spent 15 years at Spring Air in national and key account sales positions. He also worked for Stearns & Foster and Sealy.
Jent and Galant report to David Binke, Comfort Solutions executive vice president of sales.
