Mattress manufacturer Kingsdown, a Sleep to Live company headquartered in Mebane, N.C., has named Cindy McIntyre vice president of support services.
McIntyre has been with the company for 12 years and previously was assistant vice president of support services. Her responsibilities include oversight of both international and domestic customer service, consumer relations and sales support.
“Cindy has taken sales support way beyond what is expected and continues to enhance our customer service and sales support in terms of effectively communicating with sales associates and customers,” said Joe Schmoeller, Kingsdown senior vice president of operations. “She turns projects, tasks and challenges into opportunities and has continued to do so again and again.”
Anne Ray has been promoted to corporate secretary. Ray has been with the company for 10 years, serving as both an assistant secretary and executive assistant. Her responsibilities include coordinating the schedules of senior executives and arranging company functions, ceremonies and celebrations.
“Besides being the voice of the company, Anne has expanded her reach to positively impact many areas within Sleep to Live and Kingsdown,” said Eric Hinshaw, chairman and chief executive officer. “We are honored to have dedicated employees like Cindy and Anne, who make this company what it is today.”
