Winco USA, the Spring Air licensee based in Corsicana, Texas, has acquired the license for Florida. The company will service the state from its manufacturing plant in Bartow, Fla. Previously, Spring Air–Midwest had been serving retail customers in Florida from its facility in Columbus, Ohio.
“With an existing mattress factory in Florida and the company’s knowledge of our products and how to manufacture them, Winco will be able to hit the ground running,” said Rick Robinson, president of the Boston–based Spring Air International mattress licensing group. “This change will significantly strengthen our position in the Southeast.”
The Spring Air brand is manufactured in 17 U.S. plants and 29 international facilities.
