Bekaert adding jobs, space

Bekaert Textiles USA is expanding its U.S. headquarters and production facility in Winston–Salem, N.C., adding about 60 jobs. About 40 workers already have been hired, bringing the work force to about 186 people. Another 20 people are expected to be hired during the coming year, according to Dirk Vandeplancke, Bekaert general manager for the Americas. Bekaert has completed the purchase of an 83,000–square–foot facility next door to its existing 232,000–square–foot headquarters and manufacturing plant.
