Innovative Mattress Solutions in Winfield, W. Va., the parent company of sleep shop chains Mattress Warehouse and Sleep Outfitters, has purchased Mattresses Unlimited, in Nashville, Tenn.
The acquisition includes 16 stores and two distribution centers in the Louisville, Ky., and Nashville markets. This is the retailer’s first entry into Tennessee and gives it a total of 120 stores in five states, including Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
“We are very pleased to expand our company’s presence in the Louisville market, my hometown, and the opportunity to enter the Nashville market is particularly exciting,” said Kim Knopf, Innovative Mattress Solutions chief executive officer.
