Airbed manufacturer and retailer Select Comfort has added its CoolFit memory foam to a new mattress model, the Sleep Number m7 airbed.
The bed has 3 inches of CoolFit foam with new gel technology that provides “a cool, soothing sleeping surface,” according to the company. The new model has a 12-inch profile, a knit cover with unquilted styling and the company’s DualAir technology, which enables two sleepers to adjust the mattress firmness on each side of the bed. The suggested retail price for a queen set is $3,200.
The Minneapolis-based company previously offered pillows and toppers with CoolFit foam.
“Our goal was to offer everything consumers said they wanted in a memory foam bed,” said Annie Bloomquist, Select Comfort chief product management and merchandise officer. “The CoolFit pillow and CoolFit topper have been among our best-sellers because sleepers are craving cool comfort. Now we offer a family of head-to-toe CoolFit foam products for further personalization and comfort. The end result provides customers with an ideal sleep solution for those who prefer memory foam but do not want to compromise on the adjustable comfort that only a Sleep Number bed offers.”
