Mattress licensing group Comfort Solutions, which has headquarters in Willowbrook, Ill., has promoted Raheel Sadiq to the newly created position of product innovation coordinator.
In the new role, Sadiq assumes expanded responsibilities for the company’s product research and innovation initiatives. He joined Comfort Solutions in 2009 as a research and development assistant. And prior to that, Sadiq held a similar post at the former Spring Air Co.
“Over the last several years, Raheel has demonstrated a real passion for mattress design and for the bedding industry as a whole,” said Owen Shoemaker, Comfort Solutions senior vice president of product development and merchandising. “We’re very pleased to have increased his role and responsibilities in our overall R&D efforts.”
Sadiq reports to Shoemaker.
