Mattress producer Kingsdown Inc. has created three videos for use in-store to educate retailers and consumers about the benefits and features of gel.
Titled “Cool Wave,” “Arctic Wave” and “Chilly Wave,” each video explains in simple terms the various gel technologies in Kingsdown mattresses and pillows. The videos feature Dr. Robert Oexman, a chiropractor and director of the company’s Sleep to Live Institute.
“Consumers are very curious about the latest sleep technologies, particularly gel. By using these innovative POP displays, shoppers have access to a sleep expert right in the store who clearly explains the cooling and pressure-relieving benefits of gel, which provides for a better night’s sleep,” said Frank Hood, president of the Mebane N.C.-based company. “We know that shopping for a mattress can be an overwhelming process. That’s why we are continually striving to make it easier by committing to training RSAs and educating consumers.”
The videos are integrated into the company’s bedMATCH diagnostic technology but also are available for screening on independent point-of-purchase monitors and computers.
