CONSUMER REPORTS READERS RANK KINGSDOWN ABOVE SEVERAL “S” BRANDS

MEBANE, NC – In Consumer Reports’ August 2012 issue, readers rated Kingsdown brand mattresses higher in “overall satisfaction” above leading bedding producers Serta, Sealy and Stearns & Foster. The results are from Consumer Reports National Research Center’s 2012 Annual Questionnaire which included a section asking subscribers about their new mattresses purchased between. 2007 – 2011. The reader score reflected overall satisfaction with a specific brand.

“Kingsdown uses information from new sleep research and incorporates cutting edge technology into every mattress we make,” said Kingsdown President, Frank Hood. “We refer to this process as the ‘science of sleep’ and we believe it gives us an edge over other brands on the market. For over 100 years, our organization has been built around doing all we can to satisfy consumers’ need for a better and more restorative night’s sleep. The fact that Consumer Reports readers rated the Kingsdown brand higher that some of our most esteemed competitors reinforces our leadership position within the bedding industry.”
