Specialty mattress producer Dormeo Octaspring, which had its North American launch at the winter Las Vegas market, is opening a permanent showroom in the World Market Center for the upcoming summer Las Vegas market, July 30-Aug. 3.
The London-based company produces a line of mattresses with patented memory foam “springs” manufactured in Belgium.
Chris Henning, Octaspring’s president for North America, said, “We are accelerating our plans right now, due to an overwhelming initial response to the Octaspring product. We are excited to be exhibiting our new technology and launching our state-of-the-art advertising program in a space commensurate with the offering. We will be in Building B, situated among other mattress manufacturers in a location that’s well-suited to the requirement of the buyers and decision-makers that are in attendance. We’re very excited, indeed, about the way things are progressing.”
As part of its North America expansion, the company has hired personnel and opened offices in Dallas and Los Angeles and plans to back its sales efforts with a multimillion dollar television advertising spend.
