Las Vegas 'Oasis Lounge' moves to new location

LAS VEGAS–The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) has moved its “Oasis Lounge” at the Summer Las Vegas Market, July 30- August 3, 2012 to a new space at B-0960.

The idea for the lounge evolved several years ago as a place where members could relax, check their emails or hold private meetings with business associates in a neutral setting.

Located on floor nine of Building B, the Oasis Lounge is in the heart of one of the busiest bedding clusters at World Market Center. The new space will be outfitted with comfortable seating and meeting areas—similar to what the old Oasis had. Attendees will be able to charge cell phones and laptops, enjoy some refreshments – or even unwind at a golf putting station.

The space also serves as a broader resource to the home furnishings industry as it is stocked with ISPA educational materials and brochures, and those of the Better Sleep Council.

“We are very pleased that our members increasingly use this resource, which is designed to enhance their Las Vegas experience and help them be more productive,” said ISPA President Ryan Trainer.

ISPA will be hosting a “house warming” event on July 30th from 4:30-6pm and encourages members and others to stop by to enjoy refreshments and a brief respite from the hectic pace of market. Members are also encouraged to drop off their business cards for a chance to win a free 2013 Industry Conference registration/two night hotel stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

Established in 1915, the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the growth, profitability and stature of the mattress industry. As the industry’s trade organization, ISPA represents nearly 700 mattress manufacturers and suppliers throughout the world.

ISPA provides a wide range of services that benefit its membership. These include exclusive industry surveys and statistics, advocacy support, educational offerings, the industry’s ISPA EXPO trade show, safety research through its Sleep Products Safety Council, consumer research and education through its Better Sleep Council, BedTimes and Sleep Savvy publications, the ISPAEarth™ Industry Sustainability Initiative, and more.
