Mattress ticking producer Boyteks Tekstil is increasing the number of international textile fairs it attends in an effort to showcase its latest fabrics and technologies, extend market share and attract new customers.
This year, the Kayseri, Turkey-based company has participated in Interzum Guangzhou in China, Evteks in Istanbul, Formobile in Sao Paulo and Intertextile in Shanghai. And, for the first time, it has attended Furtex in Lagos, Nigeria, and Furnexpo in Erbil, Iraq.
Boyteks specifically is targeting shows in Africa, the Middle East and South America because they are growing markets for consumption and production and also markets in which investors are looking for opportunities, the company said.
