The editors of BedTimes and Sleep Savvy noted a number of trends at the summer Las Vegas furniture market.
- We didn’t think it was possible, but the use of gel in beds, pillows and toppers continues to expand–in new ways. A number of manufacturers introduced sleep products with interesting new gel formulations and technologies.
- Although many mattress makers say they are saving major product introductions for the winter show, line extensions abounded as did some unique sleep accessories.
- We love color–and it looks as though mattress manufacturers do, too. Taking their cue from the latest fashion and home decor trends, manufacturers adorned beds, accessories and showroom walls in shades of blue, green–and even trendy orange.
