Bodet & Horst offers antimony-free knits

Mattress fabric supplier Bodet & Horst, which has world headquarters in Elterlein, Germany, is replacing the polyester yarns in its circular knits with antimony-free Diolen Garant-branded polyester yarns. The yarns are manufactured in a process that uses no heavy metals.

“For more than 20 years, Bodet & Horst has been committed to the idea of responsible manufacturing, sustainability and risk prevention for the consumer,” said Karsten Siewert, Bodet & Horst USA vice president of sales and marketing. “Together with our yarn supplier, we’ve developed a mattress ticking that is free of antimony. Using this mattress ticking in our presewn mattress covers will set a new standard.”
