FXI donates bedding to charities

Industry supplier FXI, which has headquarters in Media, Pa., has donated thousands of mattresses, pillows and toppers with a retail value $1 million to nonprofit organizations serving Indiana families recovering from natural disasters and helping people struggling with substance abuse.

Donations were made to the Mustard Seed Furniture Bank and Serenity House. The nonprofits serve the community around Auburn, Ind., where FXI has a manufacturing facility.

“Community outreach is an important part of FXI’s corporate culture, and we believe it is our responsibility to support the communities where our company thrives and our employees live, work and play,” said Diane Adams, FXI senior vice president of consumer products.
