Phil Zucker
Ultra-premium mattress manufacturer Shifman Mattress Co., with headquarters in Newark, N.J., has hired Phil Zucker as general manager, a new position for the company. In the role, Zucker is in charge of overseeing company operations.
Prior to joining Shifman, Zucker was president of PIC Graphic Products Ltd. He spent 23 years with the company in an array of roles, from operations to sales management. He also served as general manager of the company before being named president.
Shifman’s continued growth necessitated the addition of a new top management position, the company said. Previously, general manager duties, which include supervising all plant and office operations, were handled by Shifman President Bill Hammer.
“Phil’s extensive experience as a leader in operations management makes him a valuable asset to Shifman,” Hammer said. “We’re excited to have him join our team and look forward to how his expertise will benefit the company.”
