Boyd hires product development engineer

Boyd Specialty Sleep, a mattress maker based in St. Louis, has appointed Dale Flowers product development engineer, a newly created position.

In his new post, Flowers focuses on product development and quality assurance and has some purchasing responsibilities. He reports to President Denny Boyd.

Flowers previously served as senior project manager for Schneider Electric Technology Center, part of American Power Conversion. Prior to that, he worked in senior product design, engineering and project management roles at a number of companies, including S-B Power Tool, formerly Skil Corp.

“We greatly appreciate the broad skill set and extensive experience that Dale brings to our team and our company,” Boyd said.
