Textile supplier Boyteks, headquartered in Kayseri, Turkey, reported that in the past year, its international sales and marketing efforts have met with success.
The company’s sales organization has expanded by 25% during that time. It now maintains sales offices and showrooms in Istanbul and China and has sales agents and wholesalers around the world—from Iceland to Japan. The company also reported that it now exports to more than 80 countries—a 33% increase in the past two years—on five continents.
Önder Honi, Boyteks vice general manager, attributes the growth to the company’s major capital investments in 2010 and an international focus that emphasizes “strong customer relations through face-to-face meetings by Boyteks dynamic sales team and managerial staff.”
The company has implemented Microsoft Dynamics, a state-of-the-art, customer-relationship management software program that has been instrumental in helping create customer-focused marketing programs. In addition, the in-house social media team is making use of a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter, to reach customers.
Among the strongest sellers in the company’s extensive line of mattress fabrics are innovative, value-added products and upholstery-look fabrics for bases, headboards and mattress borders.
