Sleepy's assists Hurricane Sandy victims

Sleepy's truck at Society of St. Vincent de Paul in New YorkMattress retailer Sleepy’s, with headquarters in Hicksville, N.Y., has donated 100 bed sets to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Bethpage, N.Y., a Catholic charity that assists needy families and individuals of all denominations.

The beds are earmarked for families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The Sleepy’s donation is part of the retailer’s Bedder Days community relations program, which kicked off in May 2011.
