Sleep Train buys naming rights to venue

Sleep Train has signed a five-year deal giving the Sacramento, Calif.-based sleep shop chain naming rights to an outdoor music venue in Chula Vista, Calif., that is now called the Sleep Train Amphitheatre. The venue, previously known as Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre, is owned by Live Nation Entertainment.

“We are proud to expand our partnership with Live Nation to become the title sponsor of this venue,” said Dale Carlsen, Sleep Train founder and chief executive officer. “It allows us to deepen our connection with the San Diego-area community and extend the reach of our award-winning Foster Kids Program with the addition of in-venue events.”

Sleep Train also recently obtained the title sponsor for the Sacramento Kings arena, now called Sleep Train Arena.
